4.8. The roof (by Nadja)

When they took all the roof tiles away, the house looked really scary to me, like a skeleton. But immediately they covered it again, first came a layer of foil, they sealed with tape and at some areas they had to put more wood pieces to have more room for the filling. Then came the layer of yellow glass wool and a foil over that and another layer of wood to put the new tiles on. And of course the complete new rain hose and stuff had to be done.
We had nice weather and the guys drunk one day up to 8 litres, but when it was raining cats and dogs in between, they were also standing there. I felt a bit pity.

Mr Wötzke and his helper had put the foil and glass wool everywhere and then cut it out, to fit the windows in. Problem was our toilet-room. The window is in between to wooden pieces and the window is pretty small, so they recommended having just some air sucking/refreshing system.
Since the room is the toilet (it is so small, that we turned the door to open it hallway direction otherwise you have to walk around the door to be able to close it while you are in) it will be without daylight a bit claustrophobic. And Holger insisted the window, which then they were able to find in the fitting size. There is always this extra things and the answer is first it is not possible, if you are not insisting other way. In this matter you should take the word Bau-HERR for granted or let the builders take it for that. Because it means in church also God!
